Mr. Ashok Jain
Mr. Ashok Jain, the President is the backbone for Shingora. His administrative skills have kept the fabric of Shingora's organization very strong and enduring.

With a long experience in the wool industry he helped Shingora and Mrs. Jain by starting and running the organization since 1996. He started the wool business with his brothers in the late 60's. He has worked his way up from the shop floor level in a small family wool knitwear business to lead and inspire the Shingora family.

Mrs. Mridula Jain
Less than two decades ago, Mrs. Jain, who is the managing director of the Ludhiana-based Shingora Shawls, decided to start a new product line to add to her husband's knitwear business. She is today considered among the top shawl professionals in the country.

As her manufacturing and export business flourished, Mrs. Jain gained notice and received several prestigious awards. She was honored with the Mahila Udyog Ratna in 1993, the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1994, and recognized by the state government in 1995 as Best Woman Entrepreneur.

Today, she is the vice-chairperson of the Shawl Club of India. She is also a member of various committees and advisory boards (both governmental and non-governmental) responsible for the upgrade of the sector.

Mrs. Jain has not only fought the odds and become a very successful business person but also has had very strong beliefs. Being a believer in GOD she trusts her instincts and follows the not so smooth path of success with a humble heart and a clear head.

Mr. Amit Jain
Mr. Amit Jain, the elder son, is main driving force for the exponential growth and expansion of the company.

Being the director development Mr. Jain leads the research and development effort of the company. With his foresight and expertise which Mr. Jain acquired during his education in textiles and his love for traveling, he brought into the company the latest design systems and machines in mid nineties making Shingora one of the only companies in India to posses such capabilities at the time.

When Mr. Jain joined the family business in 1996 the company was a handloom-based manufacturer of shawls for the domestic industry with very small percentage of exports. In 1997 Amit Jain setup a new facility with mechanical looms. He pioneered the change to shuttle-less looms and electronic jacquards in 1999. The enhanced capacities and qualities helped shifting the marketing focus to marketing to exports. With a very clear vision Mr. Jain set up a very modern plant and design facilities.

His clear view about our market and product gave Shingora an edge against the competition in our market segment.

Mr. Anuj Jain
Mr. Anuj Jain being younger to Mr. Amit Jain by 3 years; Anuj joined the business in 2001 and heads the commercial and financial segments of the business.

With his passion for science and economics he has set up management systems within the company. It is his drive for this passion, which has resulted in bringing the management information systems in Shingora to the best in the world.

He has pushed through the initial family apprehensions and now is heading the implementation of SAP enterprise resource planning in the organization.

Compliance activities are as well his passion. ISO 9000:2001; SA 8000 and Oeko-Tex certifications are his babies!
